09/22/03 - Updated: NY SUGAR daily chart.

09/22/03 - Updated: NY SUGAR SEASONAL chart.

09/12/03 - CHICAGO WHEAT (DAILY DECEMBER) - Potential buy coming up. Look for support in the mid-330's. Click Here.

06/11/03 - Updated: December Cotton I took profits in the cotton today.

05/14/03 - Sugar is under pressure, if the sell-off continues into June, then a good buy could set-up. Click here for the chart.

04/29/03 - Updated: Corn ..nearing bottom of the channel, Crude oil ..heading towards buy window, and Eurodollars ..trading back down. The end of the month often offers the best opportunities, let's see where we're going in the next few days. The charts are on the research site ..click above.

04/01/03 - Orange juice beginning to break-out to the upside ..look for follow-through buying to confirm a new up-move. See the chart May Orange Juice.

10/24/03 - Updated: CORN daily chart. SOYBEANS (WEEKLY CONTINUATION) - (05/12/03)

NY SUGAR #11 (DAILY CONTINUATION) - (05/23/03) I am looking for a spot to buy October Sugar. The chart formation is supportive and so is the seasonal.

NY SUGAR #11 (OCTOBER SEASONAL) - (05/23/03) Here is another great chart from Moore Research Center, Inc. @ www.mrci.com ...look at the end of May on the graph below ..it's tempting!

CHICAGO CORN (DAILY CONTINUATION) - (04/29/03) I am looking for support at 2.26 to 2.27 over the next day or two. It looks like a buy with support in this area. There is no planting premium built into the price, so the downside price movement should be limited.

SOYBEANS (WEEKLY CONTINUATION) - (04/07/03)
Here is a close-up of the soybean chart above, the next important target is the mid-point 6.36 1/2 (05/09/03), then 6.83 1/2 (07/04/03) with a final target of 7.28 3/4 (08/29/03). I have my doubts about fundamental support for that move.

CHICAGO WHEAT (DAILY CONTINUATION) - (04/07/03)
Wheat has trouble getting off the runway, it break-out of a major channel and then falls back into it. I think it needs more sideways/basing (taxising) price action before another major rally attempt. I am only a buyer but need to see more positve evidence.

B>CORN (DAILY CONTINUATION) - (04/07/03)
Corn appears to have completed its downward correction with three months of sideways channel consolidation. A near-term upward break-out could take prices into the 2.60 to 2.65 range. I'm long 2.30 and 2.40 July call options. Also, I like the fundamentals for corn.

CHICAGO WHEAT (DAILY CONTINUATION) - (02/10/03)

SOYBEANS (Daily Continuation) - (01/20/03) - We are coming up on the "February Effect" this is an annual event that occurs on a regular basis. Several of the major commodity markets come under intense selling pressure ..and set-up for excellent buy opportunities! The grains is one such area. I am watching soybeans as a possible buy.

WHEAT (Daily Continuation) - (01/20/03) - Wheat has moved down the double speed line and is now at the 61.8% price level, and, at the top of a major multi-year channel break-out. In just a couple of weeks wheat could reach a time objective and start an upward move ..buy against the lows with close stops.

NY SUGAR #11 (daily continuation) - (04/20/02)

NY SUGAR (Correlation Study) - (04/12/02) Moore Research Center Inc. (MRCI.com) The three year correlaton is strong ..look at the price action following the composite line (green) like a magnet!! ..4.50 in early May is the target bottom. ..Buy it with options!!

NY SUGAR (daily continuation) - (04/12/02) I'm looking for a major low in sugar between 4.77 (04/18/02) and 3.93 (05/13/02) ..best guess around 4.50 unless a major washout occurs ..call options in July and October are cheap!!

NY Cotton (weekly continuation) - (12/21/01) Early stages of basing ???

NY Cocoa Correlated Seasonal (May daily ) - (12/19/01)

SEASONAL TENDENCIES ARE A COMPOSITE OF SOME OF THE MORE CONSISTENT COMMODITY FUTURES SEASONALS THAT HAVE OCCURRED OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS. THERE ARE USUALLY UNDERLYING FUNDAMENTAL CIRCUMSTANCES THAT OCCUR ANNUALLY THAT TEND TO CAUSE THE FUTURES MARKETS TO REACT IN A SIMILAR DIRECTIONAL MANNER DURING A CERTAIN CALENDAR PERIOD OF THE YEAR. EVEN IF A SEASONAL TENDENCY OCCURS IN THE FUTURE, IT MAY NOT RESULT IN A PROFITABLE TRANSACTION AS FEES, AND THE TIMING OF THE ENTRY AND LIQUIDATION MAY IMPACT ON THE RESULTS. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT HAS IN THE PAST OR WILL IN THE FUTURE ACHIEVE PROFITS UTILIZING THESE STRATEGIES. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT PRICE PATTERNS WILL RECUR IN THE FUTURE. HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
